Add the dates to a food processor with a tiny bit of warm water and blitz slightly.
Next, add the cocoa powder and 170g of the desiccated coconut to the blender and blend until fully combined.
Using a spoon, grab some of the mixture and roll it into a ball. Place the remainder of the desiccated coconut in a wide bowl and roll the date mixture in this to coat.
Continue until you have used up all the mixture. Place in mini cupcake cases or on sheets of baking paper in a tub and chill in the fridge for a few hours or overnight.
There you have it perfect coconutty treats ready to go.
